The Ceremony Our lovely wedding ceremony will be in a garden in the village of Magdalen Laver in Essex. The ceremony will begin at 3.30pm on Saturday 24th July. After this we will move to the village hall up the road for food and ceilidh dancing. Hooray!! Specific venue details and maps are under the 'Venues' tab above. |
Information for guests
Please arrive by 3.15pm at the village hall (B on the venue map.) There will be somebody there to collect your food gift and give you a drink. Once everyone has gathered at the hall we will all walk down together to the house for the ceremony.
Choir Members
Please arrive by 2.15pm at the village hall. As above there will be someone to collect your food gift and give you a drink. You will then be taken down to the house for a little rehearsal at 2.30pm.

Our Wedding Philosophy
The ceremony will be Humanist in nature. This means that it won't be very traditional and will celebrate our relationship with words and music of all different types. This also means that none of the rules for normal weddings apply....
1. People can sit where they like
2. People can wear what they like
3. You dont have to sing if you dont want to
4. You can come late if you need to (though it would be a shame to miss any of it!)
5. There is no traditional wedding gift list because we would like you all to contribute to the day in a different way...see next box down!
